Oscar Hutton | Associate Researcher

I am a neuroscientist who is fascinated with understanding human behaviour and how we can improve ourselves to benefit those around us and ourselves. My work with >Human allows me to delve into the connection between the brain and the body. I’m working to gain an understanding of how we can use this connection to enhance our ability to collaborate with others and improve our wellbeing. Increasing accessibility to Neuroscience is important to me because everyone can use complex scientific concepts to better their own lives, when explained in an understandable way.

I gained my undergraduate degree in Neuroscience from the University of Nottingham. As a Doctoral Researcher at Loughborough University, I currently study the brain’s mental representation of the body and how it relates to persistent pain.

Outside of work, I enjoy bouldering, travelling, and kayaking with my friends, or playing my guitar at home.
