THE OUTSIDE MINDSET COMMUNITY

At Outside, we have a mission to apply the emerging science of mindset and self-awareness to help leaders face their greatest challenges. We’re doing this in partnership with a community of the world’s leading scientists and researchers in a broad range of domains – neuroscience, physiology, psychology, anthropology, futurology, philosophy, and other social sciences.

Breakthroughs in areas of research such as metacognition (thinking about thinking), consciousness, and interoception (awareness of our physical state) are providing a deeper understanding about how our brains and bodies produce our mindset.

We partner with the >Human community to make sense of new findings, co-develop innovative approaches and conduct pioneering research in the workplace and wider society.

OUR GREATER HUMAN CONVERSATIONS

Sharing some of the research, curiosities and work we’re currently doing with our >human community.

In these conversations, Emma Sinclair is joined by core members of our community. Emily Clements is a cognitive neuroscientist currently completing her PhD on the Neuroscience of Entrepreneurship at King’s College London. Neuroscientist Oscar Hutton's doctortal research is focussed on the brain’s mental representation of the body and how it relates to persistent pain.
