Emily Clements | Associate Researcher

I’m a cognitive neuroscientist with a passion and interest in teaching people about the inner workings of our brains. Working with >Human means I can begin to understand the real problems people are having in the workplace and where the knowledge gained from neuroscience can have an impact.

I have an undergraduate and master’s degree in Neuroscience and I’m currently completing my PhD on the Neuroscience of Entrepreneurship at King’s College London. During my research I’m uncovering the processes in the brain that underlie innovation and aim to use such insight to develop evidence-based training.

The complexity of neuroscience can often make it seem inaccessible to the public, however through non-specialist lectures, talks, blogs and podcasts I have worked on making research useful and relatable. Throughout my career I hope to help others develop a deeper level of self-awareness, by understanding the complex interactions between cognition and emotions in their own brains.
