Developing top talent for WMG

Top Line is an ambitious development programme designed to grow the mindset and behaviours WMG leaders need to navigate a rapidly changing future and deliver business impact. Now in its fifth iteration, Top Line is regarded by the business as its flagship programme for building a community of progressive and committed future leaders.



Working in partnership with WMG, we continue to push the ambition for Top Line every year and we evolve the programme’s mission and content to meet the most pressing and relevant challenges facing leaders today.


This year, 34, globally dispersed leaders will join a 12-month programme designed to build and embed the mindsets, skills and tools required to drive future value in an uncertain world. By focusing on ‘Who I Am’ and ‘The Impact I Create’, these leaders will gain a deep self-awareness of their own capacity for openness and inclusion and build the skills and capabilities they need to lead their teams and deliver growth through collaboration and rapid experimentation.


The programme features five in-person and virtual learning events and nine months of on-the-job coaching to support leaders to solve their most pressing priority business problems.


The powerful Top Line alumni network now exceeds 130 leaders, with a majority promoted to senior leadership roles, and the programme continues to deliver new global innovation and revenue for WMG.
