Enabling and facilitating an Agile transformation

We have worked with Royal London to shape, facilitate and kick-start their journey of transformation. The objective is to become a more adaptive and agile organisation, in support of their Intermediary business’ long-term goals.

Selected as a strategic partner to help conceive and develop an overall change strategy, our approach focuses on building capacity for change (mindset, spirit and culture), as much as capability (structures, processes, technology and skills). The resulting journey of adaptive change focuses heavily on the principles of self-transformation, empowerment and decentralised control, test and learn approaches to change, and social, community-based learning.

On the ground, we have been working closely alongside specialist Agile coaches. Our contribution has been to build early team cohesion and effectiveness, and accelerate team development. This has helped teams to adapt to working with each other in new and different ways.

We are also delivering a transformational leadership programme for over 100 leaders and managers, to enable them to facilitate the ‘bottom-up initiative’ and ‘community action’ that will create and sustain the required organisational change. The programme also supports individual leaders to make the necessary shifts in mindset, behaviours and practices that are required in leading in an agile organisation.

“We have worked with Jean, Michael and the team for many years as a valued change partner, working on some of our most ambitious transformation programmes. Their creative, but practical, approach to inspiring, mobilising and developing our people has made a direct contribution to our growth and success as a business”.
